Jay Sudderth

Jay Sudderth Sudderth is assistant vice president in the Financial Institution Relationship Management Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. In this capacity, he builds and nurtures mutually beneficial relationships throughout the region, which includes Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico. He also promotes greater understanding of and appreciation for the Bank’s role and responsibilities in the financial system and the economy and provides additional opportunities to listen to and learn from our constituents.

Sudderth joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas in early 2007, bringing commercial lending experience from the private sector. Before joining the Fed, he served as vice president of commercial lending with North Dallas Bank & Trust Co., where he was responsible for managing an existing loan portfolio while generating new business opportunities for the independent bank. Prior to his tenure with North Dallas Bank, he was vice president in the middle market/corporate banking group for SouthTrust Bank in Dallas.

Sudderth is a native of Dallas and holds a BBA in finance from Baylor University. Sudderth is also a graduate of SMU’s Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
