Kirk S. Hachigian joined the Houston Branch Board in 2009.

Hachigian is chairman, president and CEO of Houston-based Cooper Industries, a global manufacturer of electrical products. He joined Cooper in 2001 as executive vice president. Previously, he was president and CEO of Asia Pacific Operations for GE Lighting.

Hachigian serves on the boards of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. Previously, he served on the boards of American Standard, National Association of Manufacturers and PACCAR Inc.

He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, at Berkeley and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
