Elton M. Hyder joined the Dallas Fed Board of Directors in January 2011.
Hyder is president and CEO of EMH Corporation and C&E F.L. Partnership. He is also president of the Elton and Christine Hyder Foundation. His businesses have interests in commercial real estate, natural gas, gas pipelines, water development and farming.
Hyder has served on the boards of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Fort Worth Inc., Public Broadcasting Service (KERA 13 and KERA 90.1), Texas Wesleyan University and the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and University of Texas School of Law.
