3/23   Term Auction Facility
On March 23, 2009, the Federal Reserve will offer $150 billion in 84-day credit through its Term Auction Facility. Additional information regarding the auction is listed on the Board's website.

3/20   International Economic Update: Difficult Times and Bold Response

The global outlook continues to deteriorate. The latest data from industrialized countries point toward further declines in growth. Plummeting trade and capital flight are driving emerging markets towards recession. Policymakers worldwide are employing a myriad of tools to stimulate demand and revive credit markets. World output is expected to fall in 2009, the first time it has done so since World War II.

3/18   Building Wealth Instructor's Manual
The latest addition to the Building Wealth toolkit is an instructor's manual. Complete with suggestions for instructor-led discussions and student activities, the manual includes the Building Wealth CD-ROM and directions for using the interactive tools on the CD to enhance student participation.

Mar. 27   2009 ESP Conference
	The one-day conference on March 27, 2009 provides undergraduate students the opportunity to share and gain feedback on their original research in economics. It not only provides a forum for students already doing research, but also aims to inspire others to create and pursue their own research agenda.
