  • Houston Money Week, a citywide financial education initiative, will be held April 6–13. The annual event with over 100 partners includes local businesses, nonprofits, community service organizations, financial institutions and government agencies. Financial education programs and activities designed to empower citizens to reach financial success will be offered free of charge. Topics include establishing a budget, understanding credit reports and credit scores, small-business ownership, first-time homebuying and estate planning.
