Dallas Fed Appoints Chandou
and Rohan
to Small Business and Agriculture Advisory Council
DALLAS—The Federal Reserve
Bank of Dallas has appointed François Chandou and Gregory
J. Rohan to three-year terms on its Small Business and Agriculture
Advisory Council.
Chandou is a native of France and owner
of La Cave Warehouse, a Dallas wine retailer and local distributor.
La Cave organizes wine tastings, seminars and winemakers’
dinners. Its services also include wine storage, consulting,
gift selections, cellar design and wine tours. Chandou is
a member of numerous French wine associations. He is a member
of the French American Chamber of Commerce and founder and
consul mestre of the Texas chapter of the Conseil Interprofessionel
des Vins de la Region de Bergerac.
In 1989, Chandou was nominated to the
22nd edition of Marquis Who's Who in America. Chandou holds
a degree in wine tasting and oenology, the study of wines
and wine making, from the University of Bordeaux.
Rohan is president of Dallas-based Heritage
Capital Corp., the world’s largest dealer and auctioneer
of rare coins, currency, comics and collectibles. Rohan's
responsibilities include management of the firm's professional
collectibles staff and inventories and management of the firm’s
private client group. Rohan is a life member of the American
Numismatic Association and a member of the Professional Numismatists
Guild as well as numerous regional and state numismatic and
professional organizations. He is a co-author of The Rare
Coin Estate Handbook, winner of the Robert Friedberg Award
for numismatic book of the year.
The Advisory Council of Small Business
and Agriculture meets to discuss economic activity and business
conditions in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District. The Federal
Reserve Bank of Dallas is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks
and serves Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico.
