Singh appointed to board of Dallas Fed's San Antonio Branch

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed G.P. Singh to the bank’s San Antonio Branch board of directors for a term ending Dec. 31, 2007.

Singh is president and CEO of Karta Technologies Inc. of San Antonio.

He holds or co-holds six patents and has published over 50 technical papers and numerous reports related to power plant maintenance and operations. Singh serves on the editorial boards of Materials Evaluation and NDT&E International.

Singh is a member of the board of directors for the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and SATAI Network. He also serves on the executive council for United Way of San Antonio.

The San Antonio board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed board of directors and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
