DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed James D. Goudge of San Antonio to a one-year term as the Federal Advisory Council representative for the Eleventh Federal Reserve District.

The Federal Advisory Council meets quarterly with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., to discuss business and financial conditions across the nation. The advisory council is composed of one banker from each of the 12 Federal Reserve Districts.

Goudge is chairman and chief executive officer of Broadway National Bank in San Antonio. He has been in the banking industry for more than 25 years.

Goudge is a vice chair of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and chairman of the Texas Bankers Association Government Relations Council. He also has served on the Dallas Fed’s San Antonio Branch board of directors.

Goudge earned a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

The Eleventh Federal Reserve District comprises Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico.
