Cook reappointed to board of Dallas Fed's El Paso Branch

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has re-appointed Pete Cook of Alamogordo, N.M., to the bank’s El Paso Branch board of directors. He will serve a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2008.

Cook is president and CEO of First National Bank in Alamogordo. He served as First National’s senior vice president from 1987 to 1991. Previously, he was senior vice president for United New Mexico Bank and First National Bank of Lea County, both of Hobbs, N.M.

Cook serves on the boards of the Otero Economic Development Council, Alamogordo Foundation and Alamogordo Committee of Fifty.

He is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Graduate School of Banking.

The El Paso Branch board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed board of directors and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
