Dallas Fed announces executive promotions

For immediate release: January 23, 2007

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has announced the following promotions:

Diane Holloway has been promoted to vice president with continuing responsibility for sales activities in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District. She has held several positions in the Bank since 1978, primarily in Payments Services. Holloway completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado.

Sherry Kidd has been promoted to vice president with continuing responsibility for application development services in the Eleventh District. Kidd has participated in various Federal Reserve System advisory and work groups. She holds a B.S. from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Ann Worthy has been promoted to vice president with supervisory responsibility for the Discount and Credit Department. Worthy began her career with the Bank in 1969. She holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and completed the Graduate School of Banking program at Southern Methodist University.

Robert Triplett has been promoted to assistant vice president with continuing responsibility in information technology services. Triplett joined the Bank in 1995 and has managed several technology projects. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.

Joe Betsill has been promoted to operations officer with continuing responsibility for payments operations. Previously, Betsill served as an operations manager and a bank examiner. He holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Karen Gist has been promoted to information technology officer with responsibility for national and local applications development for the Eleventh District. Previously, she served as a development project manager. She holds a B.B.A. degree from Texas A&M University.

Claude Davis has been promoted to accounting officer. Davis is responsible for the budget, cost accounting, financial reporting, depository institution accounting, and internal controls compliance functions. He has held various management positions within the Financial Management Department over the past 12 years. He holds a B.A from Bowdoin College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Paul Elzner has been promoted to credit risk and reserves officer. Elzner oversees responsibilities of the Discount and Credit Department, including discount window lending, payments system risk and reserve maintenance operations for the Eleventh District. He holds a B.B.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University, an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University at Commerce and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado.

Rick Mase has been promoted to operations officer in the Cash Department. Since joining the Dallas Fed in 1986, Mase has worked in several departments, including Banking Supervision and Payments Services. He earned a B.S. in economics with a concentration in finance from Southern Methodist University.
