Dallas Fed names relationship management officers

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has announced the addition of two Bank officers.

The officers will be responsible for advancing the Dallas Fed’s relationships with financial institutions in the Federal Reserve System’s Eleventh District and overseeing the Bank’s new CEO visitation program.

  • Lynn Black has been promoted to relationship management officer. Previously, he served as director of examinations in the Dallas Fed’s banking supervision department. Black worked in that department for more than 25 years.

    Black has served as lead instructor for the Federal Reserve System’s examination management school. In addition, he assisted the Central Bank of Albania in establishing key banking supervision functions.

    Black holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
     
  • Jay Sudderth has joined the Dallas Fed as relationship management officer. Previously, he served as vice president of commercial lending with North Dallas Bank & Trust Co, where he was responsible for managing an existing loan portfolio while generating new business opportunities for the independent bank.

    Prior to his tenure with North Dallas Bank, he served as vice president for South Trust Bank in Dallas.

    Sudderth holds a B.B.A. in finance from Baylor University.
