Trevino reappointed to Dallas Fed's San Antonio Branch board

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has reappointed Guillermo Trevino of Laredo to the Bank's San Antonio Branch board of directors for a term ending December 31, 2011.

Trevino is president of Southern Distributing, a beverage distribution company, and is an owner and director of the Southern Companies, a diverse group of operating and investment entities in the United States and Mexico.

He serves on a number of nonprofit boards and has served as president of the Laredo Chamber of Commerce, Laredo Development Foundation, and is currently president of the Washington's Birthday Celebration Association.

Trevino has also served on the City of Laredo's Economic Advisory Council, Binational Commission, and Convention and Visitors Bureau. He is a member of the International Bank of Commerce board.

Trevino is a graduate of Rice University and received an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He has been a member of the Rice University Alumni board of directors and currently sits on the Goliard Scholarship Board of Governors.

The San Antonio Branch board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed board and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
