Vandegrift appointed to Dallas Fed’s San Antonio Branch board

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Board of Governors has appointed Steve Vandegrift of Austin to serve on the Dallas Fed’s San Antonio Branch board of directors for a term ending Dec. 31, 2011.

Vandegrift is founder and president of SRV Holdings, an investment company. During his 25–year operating career, Vandegrift was managing director of Techxas Ventures and helped start Activerse, where he was president and CEO.

He is co-founder and board member of Pipeline Success Inc. and also founded the Grindstone Group. He sits on the advisory council of the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Natural Science Center. 

Vandegrift held management and information technology positions at two divisions of Chase Manhattan Bank.

Vandegrift has served as chairman emeritus of the Austin Software Council. He also has been a member of the board of directors of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and Texchange and has served on the executive committee for the American Electronics Association.

Vandegrift previously served on the branch board as an appointee of the Dallas Fed.

The San Antonio Branch board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed board and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
