Laura Mathers Conniff reappointed to Dallas Fed’s El Paso Branch board

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has reappointed Laura Mathers Conniff of Las Cruces to the bank’s El Paso Branch board of directors.  She will serve a three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2011.

Conniff is qualifying broker and co-owner of Mathers Realty, Inc. and co-owner of Conniff F Cross Farm.

She is a member of the New Mexico State University Board of Regents, previously serving as chairman.  She also served as president of the NMSU Foundation.

She is a member of the Las Cruces Board of Realtors and National Board of Realtors.

Conniff holds a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University and was inducted into the University’s Business Hall of Fame in 2004.  She is married to Dr. John Conniff and has two children, Ryan and Sarah Paulowsky.

The El Paso Branch board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed board of directors and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
