Jordan reelected to Dallas Fed board

DALLAS— Margaret Jordan has been re-elected to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas board of directors by its member banks. She will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2010.

Jordan is president and chief executive officer of Dallas Medical Resource.  She has served on the Dallas Fed board since January 2007.

She also serves on the boards of the Dallas Women’s Forum, Dallas Museum of Art and The Women's Museum.

Jordan received a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and a master’s from the University of California, Berkeley. She also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University School of Business.

Each Federal Reserve Bank has a nine-member board of directors. Three members represent commercial banks, three represent the public and three are appointed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
