Dallas Fed announces executive appointment

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has named Steve Henslee as assistant vice president in the Consumer Affairs and Applications Division of the Banking Supervision Department.

Henslee will be responsible for ensuring financial institutions in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District are compliant with federal laws and regulations protecting consumers and approving mergers and acquisitions, changes in control and ownership, and other banking requests by financial institutions that require Federal Reserve review and consent.

Previously, Henslee worked for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as well as the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. For 34 years, Henslee held a variety of positions at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

He is a graduate of Western Michigan University and the Herbert V. Prochnow Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Henslee is a certified regulatory compliance manager.
