Dallas Fed appoints Teresa Molina to El Paso Branch board

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed Teresa Molina of Deming, N.M., to the Bank’s El Paso Branch board of directors for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2015.

As a board member, Molina will provide input on regional economic conditions as part of the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy functions.

Molina is president of First New Mexico Bank in Deming. Previously, she served as senior vice president and vice president of the bank.

Molina serves on the boards of the Independent Community Bankers Association, Deming Rotary Club and Deming Silver Spikes.

Her past board memberships include the Mimbres Valley Authority, Deming Chamber of Commerce and Deming Main Street.

Molina is a graduate of New Mexico State University.

The El Paso Branch board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
