For immediate release: December 16, 2014

SAN ANTONIO—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed Blake Hastings as senior vice president.

As a senior vice president, Hastings will participate in overall management of the Bank. Hastings will continue his responsibility for the operations of the Bank’s San Antonio and El Paso branches.

Since joining the San Antonio Branch in 2007 as vice president in charge, Hastings has overseen the expansion of the Federal Reserve’s outreach efforts to banks, businesses and community-based organizations in Central and South Texas. He also managed the branch’s move to a new facility earlier this year.

In 2012, Hastings was given responsibility for the Bank’s El Paso Branch, which includes its public outreach, human resources, law enforcement, facilities and administrative functions.

Hastings joined the Dallas Reserve Bank in 2007 after serving as executive director of the Free Trade Alliance, a San Antonio-based economic development organization.

Hastings holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics and an MBA in international business from George Washington University.
