Dallas Fed Announces executive promotions

For immediate release: January 20, 2015

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has announced the following promotions:

—Michael Johnson has been promoted to assistant vice president in the Bank’s Information Technology Group. He previously served as information technology officer. Johnson joined the Federal Reserve System as a supervisor in treasury relations at the St. Louis Fed in 1998 and moved to the Dallas Fed in 2009. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Alabama A&M University.

—Michael “Ike” Ikner has been promoted to operations officer and chief of police. Previously, he served as the law enforcement manager for the Eleventh Federal Reserve District. Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, he was the chief of police in College Station and retired as assistant chief of police at the City of Arlington where he oversaw the operations bureau and served as co-chair of the Super Bowl XLV Joint Operations and Crisis Management Center. Ikner holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Dallas Baptist University and a master’s degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Texas at Arlington.

—Amy McGregor has been promoted to shared support services officer in the Dallas Fed’s Banking Supervision Department. She previously held management positions in the Information Technology Department. McGregor joined the Bank in 1999 as an IT budget analyst. McGregor holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Texas Women’s University and a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina.
