This one-day workshop will bring
together researchers working on issues related to the
future of the maquiladora industry, with special attention
to the electronics and automotive sectors.
The workshop is being organized
by the El Paso Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of
Dallas through the Network of Border Economics (Red
de la Economía Fronteriza) in collaboration with
Colegio de la Frontera Norte (COLEF) through the Department
of Social Studies, Cámara Nacional de la Industria
Electrónica de Telecomunicaciones e Informática
(CANIETI), and San Diego State University.
