The U.S. and Mexico: Are We Still Connected?

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, El Paso Branch, through the Network of Border Economics (Red de la Economía Fronteriza) in collaboration with Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas A.C. (CIDE) is organizing a research conference. The conference will bring together researchers working on issues related to US–Mexico economic integration.

Academic discussions will focus on:

  • U.S.–Mexico integration and regional development
  • Bilateral trade and business-cycle synchronization
  • The impact of U.S.–Mexico trade on Mexico’s regional growth
  • Technology, trade, and wage differentials in Mexico
  • Cross-border economic impacts
