Abraham Davoody

Abe DavoodyAbraham Davoody is an assistant vice president in Banking Supervision at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He oversees a group of examiners and directors responsible for supervising community banking organizations in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District.

Davoody began his career at the Denver Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 2007. He earned his examiner commission in 2011 and became a central point of contact responsible for supervising a portfolio of banking organizations in troubled condition. He then managed the Applications (mergers and acquisitions) Department at the Kansas City Fed before transferring to the Dallas Fed in 2015. Since then, he has held several positions, including supervision and risk coordinator within the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering group, and director of examinations in the Community Banking group before assuming his current role.

He holds a BS in business administration with a concentration in finance from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Dallas. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking Program at the University of Colorado.
