Come Together: Connecting Capital With Underserved Communities

The Dallas Morning News will present a free public gathering on connecting capital with underserved communities in Dallas. The event will explore cultural myths surrounding money and reasons for the lack of capital flow into certain Dallas communities.

Mayor Mike Rawlings will moderate a discussion, which will include a special appearance by Richard Fisher, president and CEO of the Dallas Fed, and a panel of experts:

  • Mike Casey, chairman of the Grand Bank of Texas
  • John Martinez, president of the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association
  • Susan McElroy, associate professor of economics and education policy at the University of Texas at Dallas
  • Michelle Singletary, author and nationally syndicated personal finance columnist
