The topic of immigration continues to draw headlines across the country. How does immigration affect the economic growth of our country? What are its costs and benefits? Join us for an insightful look at the current status of immigration in the United States and a discussion on future challenges.
Our keynote speaker, Vice President and Senior Economist Pia Orrenius, is a labor economist whose work focuses on regional economic growth and demographic change.
Following the presentation, classroom lessons that address immigration and align to TEKS will be provided.
