Joanna Kolson has senior supervision over Eleventh District Cash Services.
She also serves as the senior official responsible for Dallas staff, supporting the retail payment technology services unit of the Retail Payments Office. Her current responsibilities include district representative to the Cash Product Office’s Cash Advisory Group, chair of the System Cash Operations Committee, deputy chair of the System Cash Training Steering Committee and Senior Management Committee liaison to the Bank’s Management Action Team.
Since joining the Dallas Fed in 1984, Kolson has held management or official positions in 10 different business areas across the Bank. She also served as chair of the System Subcommittee on Administrative Services, secretary to the Conference of Presidents and secretary to the Conference of First Vice Presidents.
Before joining the Bank, she worked as a statistical analyst for LTV Aerospace and Defense and as an engineer for South Central Bell Telephone Company.
Kolson has a BS in mathematics from the University of Kentucky and an MS in statistics from Southern Methodist University. In addition, she is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
