Renard U. Johnson

Renard U. Johnson joined the Dallas Fed board of directors in 2019. He served on the Bank’s El Paso Branch board from 2012 to 2018.
Johnson is founder of METI Inc., a professional services company that provides systems engineering and information technology support to federal and commercial customers. Prior to founding METI in 1994, he was part of the senior leadership team of a privately held firm before it was acquired by a public corporation.
He is vice chairman of the board for the Hospitals of Providence, Transmountain Campus, and former board chairman of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He also is previous board chairman and president of the Texas Lyceum. He continues to serve on the boards of many other civic and community organizations.
Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
