Janiece Longoria joined the Houston Branch board in 2018.
She is former chairman of the Port of Houston Authority. Previously, Longoria was a partner at Ogden, Gibson, Broocks, Longoria & Hall LLP, and Andrews Kurth LLP, where she focused on securities litigation and regulation.
Longoria was appointed in 2017 by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the University of Texas System Board of Regents, having previously served from 2008 to 2011. She was elected vice chairman of the Board of Regents in 2019.
She serves on the boards of two public companies: CenterPoint Energy, Inc. and Superior Energy Services, Inc., both based in Houston.
She is an honors graduate of the University of Texas and received her law degree from UT School of Law. She has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus by both UT and the School of Law.
