Gina Luna joined the Houston Branch board in 2018.
Luna is managing partner of Genesis Park. Previously, she was CEO of Luna Strategies, LLC, which she founded in 2016. She also served as chair of JPMorgan Chase in the Houston Region and head of middle-market banking.
She also is a managing partner of GP Capital Partners, LP, a private credit/equity fund focused on lower middle-market companies. She serves on the boards of several public and privately held companies, including Roku, Inc. and Tetra Technologies, Inc.
Luna is founding board chair for Houston Exponential, an organization focused on building the city’s innovation ecosystem, and is a senior advisor to the HX Venture Fund. She is also board chair of St. Luke’s Health System and serves as a trustee of The Texas A&M Foundation, The Welch Foundation, The Welch Institute and Baylor College of Medicine.
She was elected chair of the Greater Houston Partnership in 2015 and served as chair of the nationally acclaimed workforce initiative, UpSkill Houston, from 2013 to 2017. She continues her service on the GHP board, and executive and nominating committees.
Luna is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, Women Corporate Directors, International Women’s Forum and the Texas A&M Mays School of Business Dean's Advisory Board. She is active in the Young Presidents’ Organization.
Luna received the Bob Onstead Leadership Award from the Greater Houston Partnership, is a Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame inductee and was named one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women.
She is a summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University.
