Procurement Functions of the Bank
The goal of each procurement function is to provide customers with quality products and services at the best overall value to the Bank.
The Bank's local procurement function provides quality products and services at the best overall value required to sustain Bank operations in Dallas, El Paso, Houston and San Antonio.
All 12 Federal Reserve Banks, including the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, receive support from the National Procurement Office (NPO) based in Richmond, Virginia. The NPO provides procurement solutions that impact the Federal Reserve System as a whole, particularly when the requirements of all 12 Federal Reserve Banks can be leveraged.
Information Technology Procurement
Federal Reserve Information Technology (FRIT) is a national IT service provider within the Federal Reserve System that provides operational and project services, enterprise IT architecture and standards services, and enterprise information security policy and assurance services. Its procurement function provides sources of supply for goods and services that meet Federal Reserve System's information technology requirements.
