Roger Lowenstein is the author of the recently published book America’s Bank: The Epic Struggle to Create the Federal Reserve. His talk will emphasize some of the key players in the foundation of the Federal Reserve System, as well as the historical underpinnings that have led to the Fed’s relevance today.

Roger Lowenstein is an accomplished financial writer with six published books—three of them New York Times bestsellers—as well as numerous articles for various publications. Lowenstein reported for the Wall Street Journal for more than a decade, and his works have also appeared in Bloomberg, the New York Review of Books, Fortune, the New York Times Magazine and other publications. His books include Buffett, When Genius Failed, Origins of the Crash, While America Aged, The End of Wall Street and, most recently, America’s Bank: The Epic Struggle to Create the Federal Reserve.
