Xiaohan Zhang

Xiaohan Zhang is a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. As a member of the Community Development research and studies team, she conducts research on issues related to the formation of human capital, returns to human capital and household finance. These topics include early childhood interventions, education, health care, housing and retirement. Her articles have appeared in scholarly journals such as Review of Economics and Statistics, World Development and Economics of Education Review.

Zhang holds a PhD in economics from the University of California, Davis. Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, she was an associate professor of economics at California State University, Los Angeles.
