Financial Capability Month Webinar Series

The Dallas Fed hosted a three-part webinar series during April’s National Financial Capability month. Sessions addressed the state of financial literacy, historical and cultural trends in banking and new features of the Dallas Fed’s Building Wealth materials.

April is nationally recognized as Financial Literacy or Financial Education Month to highlight the importance of financial literacy and teach citizens how to maintain healthy financial habits. At the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, we consider April to be Financial Capability Month because we serve the American people by promoting a strong financial system and healthy economy for all.

Day 1: The State of Financial Literacy

This session provides an overview of the current state of financial literacy. You will hear from a panel of experts in the field and learn about the impact COVID-19 has had on personal savings.

Learn about the new lesson plans for classroom use, including the scaffolded learning approach and assessments and the new e-learning tool for virtual accountability that aligns with the original publication
