Vistas from Texas: An Economic Outlook

Dallas Fed

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas hosted the second installment of the conference series Sizing Up Texas' Growth, which examined economic trends and prospects for Texas and its major regions—South Texas, the Gulf Coast, West Texas and North Texas. Speakers also addressed the national and global economies. Additionally, this year, experts will explore the growth impact of the North Texas business services sector, including State Farm and Cinépolis.

About the Event

The one-day conference “Vistas from Texas: An Economic Outlook” was sponsored by the Research Department’s regional group and was held Nov. 4, 2016 at the Dallas Fed. Future installments of the series will rotate between the Dallas Fed and its branches in Houston, El Paso and San Antonio.
