Panel Discussion: Monetary Policy at a Crossroads

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas will host a policy panel exploring the current monetary policy crossroads on both sides of the Atlantic. The event, which brings together a diverse group of voices from the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank, will take place Saturday, June 18, during the Society for Computational Economics’ 2022  Computing in Economics and Finance conference in Dallas. While the in-person event is by invitation only, the panel will be live-streamed.

The panel will explore how monetary policy has been tested by the pandemic, lessons learned by major central banks about monetary policy frameworks and how the postpandemic economy will shift and likely impact future monetary policy.
