Fraga reelected chairman of Dallas Fed’s Houston Branch board

DALLAS—The board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas’ Houston Branch has re-elected Lupe Fraga as chairman for 2007.

Fraga was first appointed to the Houston Branch board in 2001 by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and has served as chairman since 2003.

Fraga is chairman and CEO of Tejas Office Products Inc. of Houston.

He serves on the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents and has served as chairman of the boards of Harris County Child Protective Services, Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Fraga holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Texas A&M University.

The Houston board consists of seven members, four appointed by the Dallas Fed board of directors and three by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
