Julia CoronadoJulia Coronado is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Academic Advisory Council.

Coronado is president and founder at MacroPolicy Perspectives LLC and a clinical associate professor of finance at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

She is a member of the Economic Studies Council at the Brookings Institution and a board member of the National Association of Business Economists. Coronado is also on the board of directors of Robert Half International and Dynex Capital and serves on the advisory boards of the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Pension Research Council at the Wharton School and the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Center for Inflation Research.

Coronado served as chief economist for Graham Capital Management and BNP Paribas and was a senior economist at Barclays Capital. She was a member of the Economic Advisory Panel of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and was a president of the National Association of Business Economists. She worked for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., for eight years.

She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign and a PhD from UT Austin.
