Michael Medalla

Michael Medalla is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Community Advisory Council.

A Toyota team member since 1999, Medalla has had leadership positions in legal services, retail market development, sales and marketing, learning and development, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Currently, he is responsible for the Toyota USA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation and private foundation. The foundation supports innovative direct service Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education programs.

He serves as director of the California State University, Dominguez Hills Philanthropic Foundation and chair of its Finance and Investment Committee. In May 2024, Medalla will receive an honorary doctorate from CSUDH. He served as a member of the industry advisory board of the Drucker School of Management and served as a member of the steering committee of the Dallas Fed’s inclusive economy accelerator, Advance Together™.

Medalla holds a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from the Peter F. Drucker School Graduate of Management at Claremont Graduate University.
