David TeeplesDavid Teeples is senior vice president and general counsel at the Dallas Fed.  He is responsible for leading the Bank’s Legal Department and serving as adviser to Bank leadership on issues of governance, ethics and legal authority.

Teeples joined the Dallas Fed in 2017 as vice president and deputy general counsel.

Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, Teeples was in private practice at a large law firm, where he represented financial institutions in matters involving banking regulation, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate governance.

Teeples earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma and his juris doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
