Pon SagnanertPon Sagnanert is a senior financial economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He is a member of the financial sector and policy analysis team, responsible for briefing Bank leadership on market trends, monetary policy issues and financial stability topics in preparation for Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meetings. Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, Pon held a number of roles within the Federal Reserve System—most recently as a global fixed income and foreign exchange market specialist at the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. Pon began his central banking career at the New York Fed, covering emerging market economies and Japanese financial markets.

Pon received an MA in international economics from the Johns Hopkins University and a BA in political economy from University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
