Dallas Fed announces executive promotions

For Immediate Release: June 14, 2019

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has announced the following promotions:

Jesse Barrientes, examining officer in the Banking Supervision Department, has been promoted to assistant vice president with continuing responsibility for Consumer Affairs examinations. Previously, he served as director of examinations. Barrientes has been a senior bank examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He also has held several positions at Citigroup, including audit manager, fair lending manager and compliance manager. Barrientes holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in international management from the University of Dallas.

Paige Johnson, administrative officer in the Research Department, has been promoted to assistant vice president with continuing responsibility for the administrative functions in Research, including technology and library services. Johnson holds a BBA in accounting/management from Baylor University and is a graduate of the University of Colorado’s Graduate School of Banking.

Ed Skelton, macrosurveillance officer in the Banking Supervision Department, has been promoted to assistant vice president with continuing responsibility for the risk and surveillance functions of the department. Skelton joined the Dallas Fed in 1996. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Baylor University and master’s degree in economics from Southern Methodist University. He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
