Dallas Fed names Sharmin Ashtaputre assistant vice president

Sharmin Ashtaputre has joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as an assistant vice president in the Corporate Planning Department.

In this role, she will identify strategic needs for the Dallas Fed and drive the development of department-level strategic plans and objectives.

Ashtaputre comes to the Bank with more than 10 years of experience in management consulting, primarily in the health care industry, with a focus on operations management, strategic planning, organizational change and project management.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Dallas and an MBA from Rice University.
