Houston Connects – Broadband Convening

Houston

Hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and Greater Houston Partnership, in conjunction with the State Broadband Development Office, Texas Education Agency, Texas 2036, and Connected Nation.

This invitation-only convening of select organizations and stakeholders will feature a discussion with Gregory Conte, Director of the Texas Broadband Development Office, and a call to action for creative alignment of digital inclusion initiatives and resources for the Houston area.

While broadband access has long been a challenge across Texas, the pandemic has exacerbated the economic and social costs for places and people on the wrong side of the digital divide. The unique funding opportunities resulting from the pandemic have placed new emphasis on the need for strategic coordination. We hope you will join us to get to know others working in this space and share insights on developing a broadband road map.
