Texas Community Colleges: The Indispensable Workforce Institutions Building a Talent-Strong Texas

This hybrid event hosted by the Business Leaders Advancing Skills in Texas (BLAST) coalition focuses on the pivotal role community colleges play in local and statewide workforce development, in association with the release of a new report, “All Eyes on Texas: Community Colleges Focus on Preparing for the Workforce of Tomorrow.” Discussion panels and speakers will highlight the strength of employer-community college partnerships. Texas Commissioner of Higher Education Harrison Keller and Woody Hunt, chair of the Texas Commission on Community College Finance, will share policy perspectives.

Business and industry leaders, education partners, policymakers and local business chambers are encouraged to attend in person at the Dallas Fed or virtually.
