Keith Phillips promoted at Dallas Fed's San Antonio branch

For immediate release: April 8, 2015

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has promoted Keith Phillips to assistant vice president at its San Antonio Branch.

Previously, Phillips served as research officer and senior economist. Phillips joined the Dallas Fed in 1984 as an economic analyst in the Research Department. In 1996, he moved to the San Antonio Branch to enhance regional economic coverage and better serve the South Texas community.

Phillips is responsible for the Dallas Fed’s Texas employment forecast and serves as a contributing member of the Western Blue Chip Economic Forecasting Group. He also teaches courses in managerial economics and quantitative analysis  in the executive MBA program at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Phillips earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He also holds a doctorate in economics from Southern Methodist University.
