Kelly Barclay of Wimberley elected to Dallas Fed board

DALLAS—Kelly A. Barclay of Wimberley has been elected to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas board of directors by its member banks. She will serve a three-year term ending on Dec. 31, 2021.

In her role as a board member, Barclay will provide input on regional economic conditions as part of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy functions.

Barclay is president and CEO of Ozona National Bank.

She began her career in the banking industry in 1978 with Frost National Bank in San Antonio. In 1982, she began working for Wimberley (Texas) Bank, which was later purchased by Ozona National Bank.

Barclay continued her career with Ozona National Bank and was appointed to the board of directors and named president and CEO in 2010.

Barclay is a founding member of the Wimberley Rotary Club and the finance committee treasurer of the Wimberley United Methodist Church. She has also served as director of the Wimberley Education Foundation and as a member of the Wimberley planning and zoning committee, as well as various other local and civic organizations.

She serves as a director for the Independent Bankers Association of Texas board as well as the IBAT Budget, Audit and Compensation Committee.

Barclay is a 2003 graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Each Federal Reserve Bank has a nine-member board of directors. Three members represent commercial banks, three represent the public and three are appointed by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
