Our commitment to inclusion
We affirm that Black Lives Matter.
The national conversation about systemic racism prompted by the killing of George Floyd has brought to the forefront issues that have long existed in our country.
We often talk about the extraordinary strengths of the economy in our region, but we also recognize that many people of color face structural barriers that limit their opportunities to get ahead. Cities in our district have historically experienced divisions along racial lines, and the wounds of those divisions persist.
At the Dallas Fed, we are actively working to break down barriers and build an inclusive economy where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. We recognize that we have a long way to go. We firmly believe that progress can be made through open, honest conversations that lead to mutual understanding and real change. We will continue to look at how we can improve our efforts to create a more inclusive environment for our employees and citizens of the communities we serve.
We stand against racism in all its forms. We will continue to work with the communities we serve to achieve full equity and an inclusive economy for all.
