Dallas Fed names Ali Ozdagli economic policy advisor, senior economist

Ali Ozdagli has joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas as an economic policy advisor and senior economist in the Research Department.

Previously, Ozdagli served as a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and a lecturer at Boston University.

Ozdagli has specialized in research focused on macro-finance, corporate finance, financial intermediation, and monetary policy. His work has been published in a wide range of journals including the Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Monetary Economics.

He holds a B.Sc. in industrial engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, an M.A. in economics and management science from Humboldt University of Berlin and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago.
