Meeoak Cho appointed assistant vice president of Supervisory Risk

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed Meeoak Cho as assistant vice president of Supervisory Risk.

The Supervisory Risk unit identifies and monitors risks in the district and provides subject matter expertise to specialty banking risks such as the Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering, cyber security and information technology.

Cho joined the Dallas Fed in 2008 and served in staff and management positions in the Audit Department and Banking Supervision.

She is a commissioned bank examiner, certified public accountant and certified information systems auditor.

Cho holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s in accounting and information management from the University of Texas at Dallas.
