Veronica Muzquiz Edwards

Veronica Muzquiz Edwards joined the San Antonio Branch board in 2021.

Edwards is CEO of InGenesis, one of the nation’s largest healthcare services firms specializing in comprehensive health and workforce solutions, delivering medical management, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief initiatives that strengthen community resilience.

She also leads healthcare standards and advocacy as president of the Healthcare Standards Institute, an ANSI-accredited standards developer and certification body, and chairs the HSI Foundation, promoting education and quality of life improvements through standards adoption. Additionally, she chairs the E&M Health Foundation, supporting medically underserved communities in preparing for and recovering from public health emergencies and natural disasters.

Edwards earned a BA in Communications from Texas State University and an MBA and DBA from the University of the Incarnate Word. She was honored as a distinguished alumna by both institutions. Her leadership has earned national recognition, including Fortune’s 50 Most Powerful Latinas in corporate America since 2018 and regional Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Forbes’ 50 Over 50.
