Paul Wheeler

Paul Wheeler is a vice president in Banking Supervision at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. His responsibilities include overall oversight of safety and soundness supervisory activities for all community banking and foreign banking organizations operating within the Eleventh Federal Reserve District. Previously, Wheeler was an assistant vice president responsible for leading the Banking Supervision Department’s safety and soundness function at the Houston Branch.

Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, Wheeler worked as a staff auditor for a large commercial bank headquartered in Houston.

Wheeler holds a BS in finance from Louisiana State University, an MBA from the University of Houston and completed the Graduate School of Banking Program at the University of Colorado. He also earned a Certified Financial Services Auditor certification.
